Desktop Support Technician

Documenting troubleshooting steps, repair actions, system changes, and operational procedures to ensure consistent and accurate service delivery.

Supporting deployments, installations, and integration of new equipment, routers, servers, and system software in NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

Collaborating with operations, networking, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to maintain system health and ensure compliance with mission requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: AA/AS (or equivalent experience)

Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical support, system maintenance, or IT operations

Required Certifications: ITIL Foundations v4 Certificate or the ability to obtain within 9 mos

8140 Certification within 6 months of hire.

Must have a current/active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI status

Location: Offutt AFB, NE

Experience in providing technical support in secure, mission‑focused environments.

Proficiency with Active Directory, MS Office, system software, server software, and workstation troubleshooting tools.

Knowledge of Linux, networking fundamentals, routers, databases, and system security best practices.

Strong documentation, customer service, and communication skills.

Ability to diagnose complex issues, escalate appropriately, and collaborate effectively across technical teams.

Experience with deployments, system upgrades, and IT maintenance operations.
