About the Role

- Resolve incidents and problems associated with EUC equipment
- Perform reactive troubleshooting to identify and eliminate potential incidents
- Install, upgrade, and repair EUC equipment including desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripherals
- Provide software break/fix services and replacement of non warranty assets
- Configure and support end users on mobile computing platforms
- Provide VIP support for various devices and systems
- Support data backup/restore operations and physical health checks
Requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair end user computing equipment
- Experience with hardware and software support
- Knowledge of network connectivity and printer support
- Ability to work onsite at Jebel Ali Free Zone

Role Overview
- Role: Deskside Technician – End User Computing
- Location: Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
- Rate: 257 AUD to 312 AUD
Essential Duties
- Provide onsite support to Authorized Users with operational and technical support and to meet specified SLAs
- Resolve incidents and problems associated with EUC equipment
- Perform reactive troubleshooting to effectively identify potential incidents or problems
- Support Authorized Users connecting or attempting to connect to corporate network
- Provide repair and maintenance for mobile devices
- Install, upgrade and repair EUC equipment (desktops, laptops, monitors, and associated peripherals)
- Month on month PC / System refresh should be done by onsite resource/s
- Provide software break/fix services and replacement of non warranty assets for end users
- Provide network printers and scanner network connectivity
- Provide warranty and break/fix support for networked printers and scanners
- Configure and support end users on mobile computing platforms
- Provide VIP support for equipment including desktop devices, mobile devices, display screens, video systems, docking stations, communication devices, direct attached printers, local printers, scanners, wireless networking, etc
DNS H&F Scope
- Support for data backup / restore operations. Labelling the tape, putting in the tape for backup, removing the tape after backup and handing over the 3rd party for storage
- Provide support to Regional / Global technical teams when required, for example, cabling, hardware reboot / reset is required during troubleshooting
- Support physical health check and reboot activities for in scope servers and network devices per request
- Occasional visit to DR site in case of access issues etc.
- Provide the support for schedule IT Room equipment power off operations (Ad hoc, non office hours, once or twice a year per site)
Pay
- AED 257.00 AED 312.00 per day
