Responsibilities
- Provide onsite support to authorized users with operational and technical issues
- Resolve incidents and problems associated with end user computing equipment
- Install, upgrade, and repair desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripherals
- Provide hands and feet support for server and network equipment including cabling and reboots
- Support data backup/restore operations and tape handling
- Perform IT room equipment power off operations as scheduled
Requirements
- Experience in deskside support and end user computing
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair hardware
- Knowledge of network connectivity and printer support
- Valid work authorization in Dubai

Job Overview
- Role: Deskside Technician – End User Computing
- Location: Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
- Rate: 257 AUD to 312 AUD per day
Essential Duties
- Provide onsite support to Authorized Users with operational and technical support to meet specified SLAs
- Resolve incidents and problems associated with EUC equipment
- Perform reactive troubleshooting to identify potential incidents or problems
- Support Authorized Users connecting to corporate network and assist with LAN, print, and file services
- Provide repair and maintenance for mobile devices
- Install, upgrade and repair EUC equipment (desktops, laptops, monitors, and associated peripherals)
- Month on month PC/System refresh
- Provide software break/fix services and replacement of non warranty assets
- Provide network printers and scanner network connectivity
- Provide warranty and break/fix support for networked printers and scanners
- Configure and support end users on mobile computing platforms
- Provide VIP support for various devices
DNS H&F Scope
- Support for data backup/restore operations, labelling and handling tapes
- Provide support to Regional/Global technical teams for cabling, hardware reboot/reset
- Support physical health check and reboot activities for servers and network devices
- Occasional visit to DR site for access issues
- Support scheduled IT Room equipment power off operations
