About the Role
Befit Middle East is seeking a Designer for Sports & Fitness Solutions to design innovative fitness facilities across commercial, hospitality, and residential sectors. The role involves gym layout design, space planning, 2D/3D visualizations, and client presentations.

Responsibilities
- Design commercial gyms, health clubs, wellness centers, hotel fitness facilities, corporate gyms, residential fitness spaces, and boutique studios
- Develop efficient equipment layouts based on client requirements, user flow, safety standards, and operational functionality
- Prepare concept designs, mood boards, and space planning proposals
- Prepare detailed 2D layouts and technical drawings using AutoCAD
- Develop 3D visualizations and rendered presentations using SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, or similar software
- Collaborate with Sales Consultants during pre sales stage by developing customized design proposals
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, interior designers, MEP consultants, contractors, and equipment suppliers
- Present design concepts and explain planning rationale to clients and consultants
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or related discipline
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience in fitness facility design, interior design, or sports facility planning
- Experience working with commercial gym equipment manufacturers or fitness solution providers highly preferred
- Advanced AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max or equivalent rendering software
- Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong understanding of gym equipment planning and space optimization

Job Purpose
- Design innovative, functional, and visually appealing fitness facilities across commercial, hospitality, residential, education, healthcare, and government sectors.
- Support sales and projects teams by developing gym layouts, equipment space planning, 2D/3D visualizations, technical drawings, and client presentations.
- Ensure compliance with international fitness design standards and manufacturer guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design commercial gyms, health clubs, wellness centers, hotel fitness facilities, corporate gyms, residential fitness spaces, and boutique studios.
- Develop efficient equipment layouts based on client requirements, user flow, safety standards, and operational functionality.
- Prepare concept designs, mood boards, and space planning proposals.
- Ensure layouts maximize available space while maintaining accessibility and safety standards.
- Recommend suitable fitness equipment solutions based on project objectives and user demographics.
- Prepare detailed 2D layouts and technical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop 3D visualizations and rendered presentations using SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, or similar software.
- Produce installation drawings, shop drawings, equipment layouts, and coordination drawings.
- Revise drawings based on consultant, client, and project team feedback.
- Prepare as built drawings following project completion.
- Collaborate with Sales Consultants during the pre sales stage by developing customized design proposals.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure design intent is maintained throughout project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fitness facility design, interior design, or sports facility planning.
- Experience working with commercial gym equipment manufacturers or fitness solution providers is highly preferred.
- Experience designing fitness clubs, wellness facilities, hotels, residential gyms, educational institutions, or sports facilities.
- GCC experience is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Advanced AutoCAD.
- SketchUp.
- Revit.
- 3ds Max or equivalent rendering software.
- Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of gym equipment planning and space optimization.
- Knowledge of commercial fitness equipment dimensions, operational flow, and safety clearances.
