Key Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary design teams across architecture, engineering, BIM, and specialist disciplines.
- Coordinate design from concept and schematic design through detailed design, IFC, construction, and handover.
- Establish BIM standards, protocols, BIM Execution Plans, and project information requirements.
- Lead model coordination, clash detection, design reviews, and design issue resolution.
- Review design deliverables and manage interfaces, risks, constructability issues, and technical coordination.
- Monitor progress, resources, milestones, document control, and design information management.
- Coordinate with the PMO, project teams, consultants, contractors, and client representatives.
- Support change management, technical reviews, value engineering, and design optimization.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and management updates for PMO leadership.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to design and BIM teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
- At least 15 years of experience in design, BIM, design management, or a related technical role.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary design teams on large-scale engineering, construction, infrastructure, or building projects.
- In-depth experience with BIM software and 3D modelling, particularly Revit and AutoCAD.
- Expert knowledge of BIM standards, protocols, BIM Execution Plans, and information management requirements.
- Experience leading BIM processes including clash detection, model coordination, design coordination, and document control.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM collaboration or project management platforms.
- Strong understanding of design principles, technical drawings, project lifecycles, design assurance, and risk management.
- PMP, BIM, or relevant professional certification is advantageous.
- Saudi Arabia or GCC project experience is preferred.
