Role Overview
The Design Strategy Manager leads the identification, articulation, and development of strategic design opportunities for the end-to-end guest journey.
The role collaborates with brand, guest insights, ground operations, and crew and service stakeholders.
Strategies must be grounded in operational realities and lead to implementable short- and long-term solutions.
Strategic Design Responsibilities
- Translate the brand into experience design strategies for the end-to-end guest journey.
- Lead experience design principles aligned with brand positioning and hospitality philosophy.
- Use guest data, insights, market analysis, and trends to identify opportunities.
- Cover digital, physical, and service design across booking, airport, cabin, and post-flight touchpoints.
- Create a prioritized roadmap with business impact and delivery timelines.
- Develop opportunities into tangible solutions with agreed implementation plans.
- Develop tools and methods to capture and share trends, insights, ideas, and opportunities.
- Document design principles and guidelines for product development and service implementation.
