Role Overview
Lead the identification, articulation, and development of strategic design opportunities for the end-to-end guest journey.
Translate brand and customer insights into compelling design strategies and tangible outcomes.
Collaborate with brand, guest insights, ground operations, and crew and service stakeholders.
Strategic Design Responsibilities
- Create experience design principles aligned with brand positioning and hospitality philosophy.
- Use guest data, market analysis, industry trends, and lateral trends to identify opportunities across the guest journey.
- Develop opportunities across digital, physical, and service design for booking, airport, cabin, and post-flight touchpoints.
- Create a prioritized, business-impact-led delivery roadmap with timelines.
- Develop opportunities into tangible solutions with clear implementation plans agreed with stakeholders.
- Identify and develop tools, methods, and processes to capture and share trends, insights, ideas, and opportunities.
- Maintain experience design principles and strategic design guidelines as guardrails for product and service implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial, interior, or transportation design focused on user research and design strategy, a bachelor's degree in design research and strategy, or relevant experience with a proven track record.
