About the Role

Responsibilities
- Support and help lead design research activities including research planning, fieldwork execution, analysis, synthesis, and deliverables
- Define design research plans based on relevant research and business objectives
- Support new business development efforts by providing expert information in pitch efforts and client meetings
- Work closely with cross functional teams including designers, developers, business analysts, and project managers
- Help coordinate small project tasks, ensuring timely completion
- Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions
Requirements
- 5 7 years of relevant experience including 3 5 years of design research experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Design Research
- Experience conceptualizing and managing design research from start to finish
- Proven history of delivering results on time and within budget
- Working knowledge of all aspects of design research: recruiting, scheduling, protocol development, interviewing, analysis, deliverables
- Ability to learn new software quickly; experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing software

- The Design Researcher works with project team leadership to define research track, articulate objectives, execute primary research, and develop deliverables.
Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
- 5 7 years of relevant experience including 3 5 years of design research experience.

- Academic or project experience in user research, prototyping, UI/UX, or visual design.
