Role Overview

Qualifications and Experience

• A BArch, BEng, BSc (Honours), or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline is required.
• The role requires a minimum of 15 years of postgraduate experience.
• The role requires at least 10 years of post-qualification project management experience.
• Candidates need an in-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.
• Significant experience delivering complex residential, hospitality, or similar projects is required.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills are required.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills are required.
• Candidates should be team players with leadership abilities.

Project Delivery

• Keep projects on realistic timelines and within budget.
• Select and lead project teams.
• Keep stakeholders updated on project details and progress.
• Ensure successful delivery against progress, quality, cost, and stakeholder requirements.

Stakeholder and Contract Management

• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
• Manage contractors, consultants, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other consultants.
• Monitor stakeholder relationships and adjust engagement strategies as needed.

Schedule and Cost Control

• Develop project schedule policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Monitor project tasks and workflows to complete the project on schedule.
• Identify and document actions and milestones needed to produce project deliverables.
• Develop and control project cost policies, procedures, documentation, and plans.

Issues and Change Control

• Identify issues affecting the project and manage them through resolution.
• Establish a project baseline and operate a change control system for proposed scope changes.
