- Develop and design comprehensive Life Safety systems interface with all 3rd party equipment as per code requirement
- Attend technical and coordination meetings with consultants and contractors to resolve design issues
- Review engineering drawings and ensure all necessary approvals for systems are obtained in a timely manner
- Design systems in accordance with project specifications and manage NFPA/Civil Defense and client technical reviews
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and contractors
- Implement quality assurance and control procedures
- Supervise assigned 2D & 3D Drafting team
Requirements
- Hands on experience in preparing LUX level, Heat Dissipation, SPL, Voltage drop and similar calculations for FLS systems
- Experience with NFPA/Civil Defense standards and client technical reviews
- Ability to supervise 2D & 3D drafting teams
