Design Engineers for EHV Transformers & Reactors
- We are seeking to recruit highly qualified Design Engineers with extensive experience in the design of Extra High Voltage (EHV) power transformers and shunt reactors.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in the design of power transformers and shunt reactors.
- Hands on experience in the design of: Power transformers up to 500 MVA, 400 kV; Shunt reactors up to 200 MVAR, 400 kV.
- Proven expertise in electrical or mechanical design of EHV transformers and reactors.
- Strong knowledge of international standards and design practices, including IEC and IEEE standards.
Technical Competencies
- Ability to perform transformer/reactor design calculations and optimization.
- Experience with electromagnetic, thermal, dielectric, and mechanical design.
- Familiarity with design software and engineering tools used for transformer and reactor design.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, testing requirements, and design for manufacturing principles.
Professional Skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
