Design and Estimation Duties
- Develop detailed design specifications and drawings that meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct cost estimation and analysis for project proposals using advanced software tools.
- Review supplier and contractor bids and provide recommendations based on technical and financial assessments.
- Perform risk assessments and propose solutions to mitigate potential design and estimation challenges.
- Use CAD software to create and modify engineering designs.
- Prepare reports and presentations communicating design decisions and estimation findings to clients and team members.
Continuous Improvement and Compliance
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to improve design methods and estimation accuracy.
- Lead design reviews and estimation meetings while encouraging input and feedback from team members.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and safety standards throughout the design and estimation processes.
