A client of Michael Page is seeking a Dermatology Consultant to provide comprehensive dermatology consultations, perform advanced cosmetic procedures, and develop individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dermatology consultations, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of skin conditions
- Perform advanced cosmetic and aesthetic procedures in line with approved clinical privileges
- Develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans and monitor outcomes
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and clinical examinations
- Educate patients on treatment options, skincare, preventive care, and medication usage
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and investigations
- Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies in line with clinical guidelines
- Maintain accurate, up to date patient records and documentation
- Ensure adherence to local healthcare regulations, clinical standards, and accreditation requirements
- Provide clinical guidance and second opinions to junior physicians and specialists
Requirements
- Medical degree and specialization in dermatology
- Experience in cosmetic and aesthetic procedures
- Knowledge of clinical guidelines and healthcare regulations

Clinical Care
- Provide comprehensive dermatology consultations, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of skin conditions

Patient Management & Education
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and clinical examinations
- Educate patients on treatment options, skincare, preventive care, and medication usage
- Promote health awareness, disease prevention, and long term patient engagement
Diagnostics & Treatment
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and investigations
- Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies in line with clinical guidelines
- Maintain accurate, up to date patient records and documentation
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to local healthcare regulations, clinical standards, and accreditation requirements
- Follow internal policies, procedures, and clinical governance frameworks
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with national healthcare standards
Collaboration & Leadership
- Provide clinical guidance and second opinions to junior physicians and specialists
- Support performance management and development of medical staff where required
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
Continuous Development
- Participate in continuing medical education (CME), clinical audits, and professional development activities
- Contribute to internal training sessions, case discussions, and knowledge sharing initiatives
- Stay up to date with advancements in dermatology and aesthetic medicine
