Deputy Manager - Application Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Work with customers to understand valve timing strategies and select suitable products.
• Create and review product performance specifications and targets.
• Design products considering specification and packaging constraints.
• Perform technical assessments, calculations, and design validations.
• Support DFMEA and DVP&R activities with customers.
• Analyze prototype parts, failure modes, and customer issues.
• Lead technical discussions with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
• Apply problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, FTA, and Six Sigma.
• Release designs as per Product Development Process requirements.
• Support manufacturing plants for quality, productivity, and cost improvements.
• Coordinate projects with global and cross-functional teams.
