Dental Assistant (DHA Licensed)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during general, cosmetic, and surgical procedures using four-handed dentistry.
• Prepare the operatory, instruments, and materials before each patient.
• Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment according to DHA infection-control standards.
• Take and process X-rays as directed by the dentist.
• Prepare dental materials such as impressions and temporary restorations.
• Maintain patient records and update treatment notes in the clinic system.
• Manage dental consumables and inform management before items run out.
• Support patient flow, appointment confirmations, and follow-ups when needed.
• Keep the clinic environment clean, safe, and patient-ready.

Requirements

• A valid DHA licence or DHA eligibility letter is mandatory.
• A diploma or degree in Dental Assisting, Dental Hygiene, or an equivalent field is required.
• At least 1–2 years of chairside experience is required, preferably in the UAE.
• Good spoken English is required; Tagalog is an advantage.
• Candidates should be well-groomed, punctual, and patient-friendly.
• The successful candidate should be able to join immediately or on short notice.
• Candidates currently in the UAE are preferred.

• Salary is negotiable and based on experience.

Location and Work Arrangement

• The clinic is in Al Rigga, Deira, Dubai, within walking distance of Al Rigga Metro Station.
• The position is performed in person at the clinic.
