Position Details

Kitchen Responsibilities

• Prepare special meals, substitute items, prepare cold foods, and cook according to recipes and quality standards.
• Regulate ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters, and thaw frozen food safely in refrigerators.
• Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, garnish, food quality, and preparation records.
• Monitor prepared food quantity and quality and communicate assistance needs during busy periods.
• Inform the Chef about excess food and service staff about menu specials and out-of-stock items.

Team and Guest Support

• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Anticipate and address guest service needs and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Support the team in reaching common goals and respond appropriately to employee concerns.

Preferred Qualifications

• A technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred.
• At least three years of related work experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is required.

Standards and Physical Requirements

• Follow company safety and security policies, report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, protect confidential information, and safeguard company assets.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and perform bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and overhead reaching.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
