Position Summary
Demi Chef de Partie position in the Food and Beverage & Culinary department at The Ritz-Carlton, Doha.
The role supports kitchen food preparation, quality standards, guest service, and safe hotel operations.
Role Expectations
- Prepare special meals, substitute items, cold foods, and recipe-based dishes.
- Regulate ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters and thaw frozen food safely.
- Maintain food logs and monitor food quality and quantity.
- Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, garnish, and presentation.
- Communicate assistance needs and menu information during service.
- Support hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, coaching, and motivation activities as directed by management.
- Follow safety, security, confidentiality, appearance, and asset-protection policies.
- Anticipate guest needs, communicate professionally, and maintain positive working relationships.
- Stand or walk for extended periods and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Preferred Qualification
- A technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred.
- At least three years of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is required and no license or certification is specified.
