Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Maintain departmental standards according to the operations manual and hotel policy.
• Prepare and present bread and bakery items to consistently high standards.
• Follow standard recipes and preparation methods for menu items.
• Clean and maintain work areas, kitchen equipment, and utensils to hotel hygiene standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and coordinate with colleagues on operational matters.
• Apply HACCP and Municipality food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Maintain punctual attendance, correct uniform, professional appearance, and professional service.
• Attend training programmes, meetings, and briefings and perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality.
• 3–4 years of experience in a 4–5 star hotel.
