Position Overview
JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai is recruiting for a Demi Chef de Partie position in the banquet kitchen.
The role is part of the Food and Beverage & Culinary function and is a non-management position.
The role supports food quality, safe kitchen operations, and an exceptional guest dining experience.
Role Expectations
- Ensure food quality, freshness, consistency, and proper portion control.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation in line with company and HACCP standards.
- Monitor stock, minimize waste, and report excess or low-stock items to the Chef.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and store and handle food products properly.
- Maintain food production records and temperature logs.
- Communicate with culinary and service teams about specials, guest requirements, and operational needs.
- Support kitchen operations during busy service periods.
- Report equipment and maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience as a steakhouse chef in a luxury hotel, upscale steakhouse, or high-end restaurant is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of steak preparation techniques, food safety, and hygiene standards is preferred.
