Position Summary
SADSCO is appointing a Head of Demand & Supply Planning to own the end-to-end planning engine that converts commercial ambition into secured, saleable stock.
The role consolidates demand forecasting, supplier and principal management, inventory and expiry control, and government and tender fulfilment under one accountable leader.
Forecasting and S&OP
- Own monthly rolling demand forecasts at SKU, channel, and customer-group level with locked short-horizon and unconstrained long-horizon views.
- Chair the end-to-end monthly S&OP cycle across Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Warehouse, Finance, Supply Chain, and executive stakeholders.
- Build statistical forecasting baselines covering seasonality, trend, promotions, tenders, launches, and cannibalization.
- Publish forecast accuracy and bias KPIs, run monthly reviews, and drive root-cause correction.
- Model base, upside, and downside demand scenarios and quantify stock and cash implications.
- Translate agreed demand into constrained supply plans and identify capacity, lead-time, or registration constraints.
Supplier and Principal Management
- Own planning relationships with international principals and suppliers across forecasting, purchase orders, confirmations, production slots, and shipment follow-through.
