Requirements

Overview
- Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly skilled Delivery Project Director (DEL 1) to oversee the delivery of critical projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads, inspires and drives the health, safety, and wellbeing culture on the project.
- Role models leadership behaviors, in line with the Qiddiya Values, at all times.
- Motivates and inspires a high performance culture through clear direction, providing continuous feedback, recognizing and rewarding exceptional performance and fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation and accountability.
- Provide visible inclusive leadership, effective succession planning, exploring recruitment and retention strategies and providing mentoring/sponsorship to staff.
- Leads collaboration and interface across design, procurement, construction, test, and commission activities to deliver the completed assets in accordance with the approved designs, approved cost plan budgets and by the agreed milestone dates.
- Works closely with other directors and the senior management team to maximize project efficiencies across all facets of the projects including project integration, interfaces and interdependencies with wider program to enable seamless construction phasing.
- Prepares and presents to QIC Control committees and groups where appropriate.
- Leads project review processes to enable effective progress reporting and ensure in depth knowledge of all project elements.
- Works effectively with commercial, contracts and cost teams, to facilitate successful project delivery whilst managing project budgets and financials.
- Knowledgeable of all contract formats and their respective benefits and liabilities with strong knowledge of continuous improvement techniques.
- Identifies, manages, and mitigates the delivery risk exposure to the project by ensuring adequate controls are identified and applied.
- Leverages opportunities within Peer groups for collaboration, lessons learned, and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Masters Degree: Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related field, preferred.
- 15 20 years of experience as a Project Manager, leading complex projects from initiation to closure.
- Diverse experience working within Mega/large scale complex design and construction programs across private and/or government sectors.
- Expert commercial and contracts understanding.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical direction, socialize change, motivate and inspire teams, and manage executive expectations.
- Demonstrated track record in strategic, high impact decisions that may drive change or contribute to project success.
- Ability to leverage relationships to maximize project outcomes.
- Significant experience required in development, implementation and management of business systems, including policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to set clear goals, motivate teams and produce results.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and deliver challenging goals and objectives using industry knowledge to aid decision making.
- Knowledge of industry specific regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Ability to confidently communicate to large groups and executive audiences.
