Delivery Driver (G Class)

Position Overview

What You Will Do

• Deliver equipment safely and efficiently to customer job sites.
• Load, unload, tie down, and secure equipment and products according to safety standards and best practices.
• Provide professional customer service while representing the company on job sites.
• Communicate with dispatch about schedules, delivery updates, and route changes.
• Update driver log books and required documentation accurately and consistently.
• Inspect loads and equipment during deliveries and report damage or issues to the manager.
• Prepare for next-day deliveries by fueling trucks, washing vehicles when required, and pre-loading equipment.
• Work with the branch team to support daily operations and customer needs.
• Follow workplace safety protocols and environmentally sound practices.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience delivering construction or landscaping equipment to job sites.
• Full G Class driver's licence with a clean driver abstract.
• Familiarity with safe driving practices and construction site requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-service orientation.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Ability to work independently with effective time-management and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with construction equipment and building products.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly up to 50 pounds.
• Experience tying down and securing various types of loads safely and effectively.
• Previous roll-off truck experience is an asset.
• Prior experience with both TRAC operation and Systematics is an asset.
• Technical understanding of CAT equipment is an asset.
