Battlefield Equipment Rentals is hiring a G Class Equipment Delivery Driver in Burlington, Ontario.
The role delivers construction equipment to customer job sites and serves as a link between the branch and customers.
The position is full-time and permanent, with pay of $21.00 to $23.00 hourly depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver equipment safely and efficiently to customer job sites.
- Load, unload, tie down, and secure equipment in accordance with safety standards.
- Provide professional customer service on job sites.
- Communicate with dispatch about schedules, delivery updates, and route changes.
- Maintain accurate driver log books and delivery documentation.
- Inspect loads and equipment and report damage or other issues to the manager.
- Fuel trucks, wash vehicles when required, and pre-load equipment for next-day deliveries.
- Support branch operations and follow workplace safety and environmental practices.
Requirements
- Full G Class driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract.
- Experience delivering construction or landscaping equipment to job sites.
- Familiarity with safe driving practices and construction site requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and secure loads safely.
- Ability to work independently, manage time, stay organized, and collaborate with a team.
- Familiarity with construction equipment and building products.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous roll-off truck experience is an asset.
- TRAC operation and Systematics experience would be an asset.
- Technical understanding of CAT equipment would be an asset.
