Delivery Driver (G Class)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Deliver equipment safely and efficiently to customer job sites.
• Load, unload, tie down, and secure equipment in accordance with safety standards.
• Provide professional customer service on job sites.
• Communicate with dispatch about schedules, delivery updates, and route changes.
• Maintain accurate driver log books and delivery documentation.
• Inspect loads and equipment and report damage or other issues to the manager.
• Fuel trucks, wash vehicles when required, and pre-load equipment for next-day deliveries.
• Support branch operations and follow workplace safety and environmental practices.

Requirements

• Full G Class driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract.
• Experience delivering construction or landscaping equipment to job sites.
• Familiarity with safe driving practices and construction site requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and secure loads safely.
• Ability to work independently, manage time, stay organized, and collaborate with a team.
• Familiarity with construction equipment and building products.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous roll-off truck experience is an asset.
• TRAC operation and Systematics experience would be an asset.
• Technical understanding of CAT equipment would be an asset.
