Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently to customers.
The ideal candidate should have a valid driver's license, a strong work ethic, and excellent time management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver goods to customers in a timely manner.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery.
- Verify delivery information, including addresses and payment details if required.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and signed confirmations.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any delivery-related inquiries.
- Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in good working condition.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages if needed.
- Good knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple deliveries per day.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using GPS and route optimization apps.
- Familiarity with handling cash or electronic payment methods.
- Experience driving commercial or company vehicles.
