About The Role

  • We're looking for a detail-oriented DC Quality Manager to lead all quality control activities within our Distribution Center.
  • You'll be responsible for ensuring product compliance, food safety, and operational standards across inbound, storage, production, and dispatch operations — playing a critical role in protecting product integrity and customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Receiving & Inspection Management — Ensure all inbound and outbound products are inspected per approved SOPs and sampling plans. Manage acceptance, partial, or full rejection decisions based on approved specifications
  • Product Quality & Storage Monitoring — Monitor product quality, temperature conditions, shelf life, and storage compliance across all DC areas. Ensure proper handling of temperature-sensitive and high-risk products
  • FIFO / FEFO & Inventory Quality Control — Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO implementation and monitor aging stock to reduce waste, deterioration, and operational losses
  • Production & Repacking Supervision — Supervise repacking, sorting, grading, and handling activities to maintain product integrity, hygiene, and compliance with operational standards
  • Supplier & Cross-Functional Coordination — Coordinate with Operations, Commercial, Planning, and Suppliers on quality issues, corrective actions, and operational challenges
  • Traceability & Documentation Control — Ensure accurate product traceability and documentation across receiving, storage, production, and dispatch operations
  • Investigation & Continuous Improvement — Lead investigations on product damage, complaints, and quality deviations. Implement corrective actions to continuously improve operational performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field
  • ISO 22000 & HACCP certified (preferred)
  • Fresh produce quality control or food industry operations
  • Quality inspection procedures, HACCP, ISO 22000, and food safety standards
