Role Overview
The Day Manager leads and coordinates all day-shift activity at The Noke Hotel.
The role is the senior on-site point of contact during the day and also acts as the site's Fire Controller.
The position oversees security, general assistant and maintenance staff while maintaining site safety, presentation and smooth operations.
Location and Schedule
- The role is based at The Noke Hotel in St Albans, despite the stored location identifying Watford.
- The position is a day shift with flexible rota-based hours.
- The role is hands-on and performed in person on site.
Shift and Security Operations
- Lead the day shift, conduct briefings, check staff compliance and confirm time and attendance records.
- Oversee lone-worker check-ins, indoor and outdoor patrols, patrol logging and escalation of missed check-ins.
- Audit the outgoing night shift and follow up on gaps involving patrols, inventory, radios and body cameras.
- Review CCTV, entry points, fire exits, doors, windows and access-code controls.
