Role responsibilities
- Work under minimal supervision on complex database management assignments.
- Perform system-wide and cross-functional team management.
- Provide direction for projects.
- Plan and manage the implementation and integration of new technologies.
- Lead work on projects of high complexity.
- Serve as a subject matter expert within the organization.
- Mentor less senior IT staff.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Typically 12+ years of experience in database administration, PMIS implementation, or project controls systems.
- Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, rail, transportation, construction, or engineering projects.
Preferred qualifications
- A master's degree is advantageous but not essential.
- Professional certifications are desirable, including Oracle Database Certification, Microsoft SQL Server Certification, PMP, or PMIS-related certifications.
Onboarding requirement
- Newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.
