The Administrators establish and maintain security and integrity controls. These positions formulate and monitor policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management. The Administrators propose and implement enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.

Job Summary
The Database Administrators are responsible for planning and delivery of database architecture/design services, providing sizing and configuration assistance, performing needs assessments, database definition & structure, documentation, long-range requirements, operational guidelines, and protection. These roles ensure accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools and creates and tests backups. The Administrators establish and maintain security and integrity controls. These positions formulate and monitor policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management. The Administrators propose and implement enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
Responsibilities
- Principle participants on SQL migration to Azure PaaS
- Develop strategy and plan for the upgrade and migration of legacy SQL 2008, 2012, 2016 SQL environments to Azure SQL PaaS
- Work with various teams to understand SQL environment and plan and execute SQL migration/upgrade, and validation of environments as they are migrated
- Manages and maintains complex databases and database systems as assigned to include change tickets, patching, troubleshooting, and designing
- Addresses more complex tickets and provide incident response and triage to for databases and database systems (to include after-hours support)
