About the Role
Systematic is hiring a Data and Solutions Engineer for their Defence Services team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves data integration, AI/agentic capabilities, system integration, and solution delivery for mission-critical C4I systems.

Responsibilities
- Ingest, process, and integrate data from multiple sources into unified workflows
- Design and manage data transformation pipelines using low/no code tools
- Integrate AI services, including agentic workflows, to automate data processing
- Configure and integrate systems to enable data exchange across complex architectures
- Deliver dashboards, reports, and searchable datasets for operational use
- Support end to end delivery of mission critical C4I solutions
- Configure, deploy, and provide lifecycle support for operational systems
- Engage users and stakeholders to capture requirements and drive adoption
- Train customers on data and AI tools to ensure effective operational use
- Support proposals, solution scoping, and capture activities
Requirements
- Experience in data engineering, system integration, or similar roles
- Familiarity with data integration tools (e.g., Node RED, Apache NiFi)
- Experience with APIs, JSON/XML, and data processing
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Understanding of AI/ML services, models and agentic AI concepts
- Customer facing or consultancy experience with complex stakeholders
- Experience delivering solutions in Defence, security, or government environments
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or related field
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage
- Eligible for UAE security clearance
- Willingness to travel within the region and to HQ as required

Key tasks
- Data Integration & Engineering: Ingest, process, and integrate data from multiple sources.

- Visualisation & Reporting: Deliver dashboards, reports, and searchable datasets.

- Deployment & Support: Configure, deploy, and provide lifecycle support.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage users and stakeholders to capture requirements.
- Training & Enablement: Train customers on data and AI tools.
- Business Development Support: Support proposals, solution scoping, and capture activities.
Your qualifications
- Experience in data engineering, system integration, or similar roles.
- Familiarity with data integration tools (e.g., Node RED, Apache NiFi).
- Experience with APIs, JSON/XML, and data processing.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Understanding of AI/ML services, models and agentic AI concepts.
- Customer facing or consultancy experience with complex stakeholders.
- Experience delivering solutions in Defence, security, or government environments.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or related field.
