Role overview
Wesfarmers OneDigital is building a data and digital retail ecosystem across loyalty, data, retail media, and AI.
The Data Scientist will work across the full lifecycle of data science projects, from exploration and experimentation through deployment and monitoring.
The role applies machine learning, advanced analytics, and generative or agentic AI to data across the Wesfarmers Group.
What you’ll do
- Translate business challenges into analytical problems and develop data-driven solutions.
- Perform exploratory data analysis and generate actionable business insights.
- Design A/B tests and other statistical experiments.
- Create visualizations and reports for non-technical audiences.
- Build, deploy, evaluate, monitor, and maintain machine learning and AI solutions.
- Use AI coding agents, skills, and plugins to accelerate experiments.
- Contribute to data science best practices, reusable patterns, and delivery standards.
