Role overview
The Data Science Intern will research, develop, and implement artificial intelligence-based solutions across GE Aerospace.
The intern will work under the guidance of senior team members within the Data Science and AI team.
The role supports exploratory projects and digital solutions for identified business problems.
Essential responsibilities
- Work with a development team on generative AI, Python, cloud platforms, statistics, machine learning, and deep learning.
- Work with an identified mentor on allocated projects.
- Analyze, design, test, and integrate components that meet business standards and program or product requirements.
- Document technical data generated by assigned projects according to organizational policies and procedures.
- Prepare, present, and communicate technical data and project results.
Qualifications and requirements
- Applicants must be in the third or fourth year of a B.Tech program or the first or second year of an M.Tech program.
- Applicants must be from a computer science or information technology stream with a Data Science or AI specialization; this specialization is preferred.
- Applicants must have a CGPA of at least 7 or at least 70 percent and have no active backlogs.
