Data Platform Responsibilities
- Build data architectures and data pipelines using Python and Apache Airflow.
- Use AWS services including EKS, Glue, Firehose, S3, AWS Batch, Lambda, ECS, RDS, and DynamoDB for batch and near real-time data processing.
- Provision AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
- Build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Monitor, observe, and troubleshoot data platforms.
- Build custom Airflow DAGs and operators.
- Set up and manage Airflow on EKS at scale.
Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience building data architectures and data pipelines using Python and Apache Airflow.
- Strong hands-on AWS experience across services used for batch and near real-time data processing.
- Expertise provisioning AWS infrastructure with Terraform.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring, observability, troubleshooting, and data architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience building custom Airflow DAGs and operators and managing Airflow on EKS at scale.
