The SAP Data Migration Lead owns the end-to-end migration lifecycle from legacy Oracle EBS schemas into SAP S/4HANA.
The role combines technical database extraction and cleansing with functional mapping of legacy structures to SAP master and transactional data objects.
The position reports to the Enterprise Resource Architect or SAP Project Manager.
Location and work arrangement
- The position is based in Dubai, UAE, at the group headquarters.
- The work location is on-site and in person.
Employment type
- The position is an 18 to 24-month fixed contract.
Key responsibilities
- Define migration strategy, data profiling, cleansing, field mapping, and validation protocols across multiple business entities.
- Work with Oracle DBAs and developers to extract, profile, and clean legacy Oracle EBS data.
- Lead mock-load and cutover-load cycles using SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP BODS, Advanced Data Migration, or equivalent tools.
- Establish automated reconciliation reports for migrated financial, SCM, and HR data.
- Coordinate with the system integrator's data team on target schema validation and cutover readiness sign-off.
Experience requirements
- At least 8 years of data migration experience are required.
- Direct hands-on experience migrating Oracle EBS R12 data to SAP S/4HANA is required.
Technical qualifications
- Strong SQL knowledge is required.
- Familiarity with Oracle EBS database tables and FIN, SCM, and HCM modules is required.
- Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA data structures is required.
- Proficiency with SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP BODS, or an equivalent data transformation toolset is required.

- The successful candidate should be analytical and methodical.
- The role requires collaboration with cross-functional business teams to drive data ownership and sign-offs.
