Cost Accountant

🚨 WE’RE HIRING | COST ACCOUNTANT – F&B

Al Ain Mills is looking for a qualified and experienced Cost Accountant to join our team in Sharjah, UAE.

💰 Salary: AED 10,000 – 12,000

🕐 Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

📅 Working Days: Monday – Friday

✅ MUST be CA / ACCA / CMA qualified

✅ 4–5 years of UAE experience in the F&B industry

✅ Strong hands-on experience in Cost Accounting & Cost Control

✅ Experience with food costing, inventory control and stock valuation

✅ Strong knowledge of budgeting, variance analysis and profitability

✅ Experience preparing and analyzing cost reports

✅ Strong understanding of F&B operations and financial controls

✅ Excellent analytical and reporting skills

🔹 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor and analyze food, beverage, production and operational costs.

Prepare and maintain accurate food costing and recipe costing.

Conduct regular inventory counts, stock reconciliation and valuation.

Analyze actual vs. standard costs and investigate significant variances.

Prepare monthly cost reports, variance reports and profitability analysis.

Monitor wastage, portion control, consumption and inventory movements.

Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts and cost-saving plans.

Work closely with the Finance, Procurement, Stores and Operations teams to control costs.

Review purchasing prices and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

Ensure proper financial controls are followed across F&B operations.

Support management with accurate cost analysis and financial insights.

Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions to improve profitability.
