The Role

What You Will Do

• Support priority commercial initiatives involving pricing, demand, segmentation, and owner acquisition.
• Provide rapid-turnaround analysis for questions from the Chief Data Officer and senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Science, and Business Intelligence teams to ensure insight has appropriate infrastructure and rigour.
• Communicate clear, concise outputs to non-technical audiences up to C-suite level.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong, confident SQL querying of large datasets.
• Model-building and scenario-analysis capability in Excel.
• Comfort using AI tools such as Claude and Copilot, with curiosity about emerging tools.
• Experience gained within a commercial or consumer business.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across engineering, data science, and BI teams.
• Concise communication style and credibility with senior stakeholders.
• Snowflake experience is a plus.
• Travel, e-commerce, or marketplace experience is a plus.

Working Arrangement

• Hybrid working with two days per week in the Manchester office and three days working from home.
