Role Overview
Lead the establishment of governance frameworks, policies, and practices for accurate, consistent, and reliable enterprise data.
Apply expertise in data governance, quality frameworks, database management, and structured data environments.
Work with Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse and related data platforms.
Data Governance and Quality
- Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and standards across the enterprise.
- Define and monitor data quality rules, metrics, and dashboards.
- Lead data stewardship programs and assign ownership and accountability across departments.
- Build and maintain data catalogs, metadata management, and data lineage.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements.
Database and Data Warehousing Oversight
- Use relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL to support governance and quality initiatives.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency in the Microsoft Fabric data warehouse.
- Collaborate with BI and data engineering teams to align data models and standards with governance policies.
- Support structured data validation and profiling across business domains.
