Responsibilities
- Serve as strategic business partner for data excellence, collaborating with cross functional partners to assess and implement new data use cases
- Own and execute the LOC data roadmap, maintaining a prioritized backlog of data tasks and providing transparent progress updates
- Lead data stewardship, governance, and documentation, including Master Data Management implementation and validation
- Drive data quality monitoring and remediation, operating recurring data quality checks and implementing fixes
- Execute data integration, ingestion, and always on customer data flow into CDP
- Serve as a hands on data ambassador, raising data fluency and governance capabilities through training and playbooks
Requirements
- University degree in data management, information systems, computer science, analytics, business, or related discipline
- 5 7 years of experience in data management, data governance, data integration, or related disciplines
- Hands on experience with regulated data domains (e.g., HCP/HCO, PSP, consented customer data, financial data) in a pharmaceutical or regulated industry context
- Working knowledge of SQL, data platforms (e.g., Databricks), BI tools (e.g., Power BI), ETL processes, and data modelling
- Strong understanding of Master Data Management, data quality frameworks, and data governance principles
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate between technical and non technical language
- Detail oriented and quality driven

How will you contribute
- Serve as strategic business partner for data excellence; collaborate with cross functional partners to assess, prioritize, and implement new data use cases.
- Own and execute the LOC data roadmap; maintain prioritized backlog of data tasks and provide transparent progress updates.
- Lead data stewardship, governance, and documentation; perform hands on stewardship activities and lead Master Data Management implementation.
- Drive data quality monitoring and remediation; operate recurring data quality checks and implement fixes.
- Execute data integration, ingestion, and always on customer data flow into CDP.
- Serve as a hands on data ambassador; raise data fluency and governance capabilities through training, office hours, and playbooks.
What you bring to Takeda
- University degree in data management, information systems, computer science, analytics, business, or related discipline.
- 5 7 years of experience in data management, data governance, data integration, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrates a growth mindset, with openness to feedback and continuous learning.
- Hands on experience with regulated data domains (e.g., HCP/HCO, PSP, consented customer data, financial data) in a pharmaceutical or regulated industry context.
- Working knowledge of SQL, data platforms (e.g., Databricks), BI tools (e.g., Power BI), ETL processes, and data modelling.
- Strong understanding of Master Data Management, data quality frameworks, and data governance principles.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical data ecosystems, compliance, privacy, and audit requirements.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and backlog management.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate between technical and non technical language.
- Detail oriented and quality driven; proactively identifies and resolves data issues.
- Bridge technical data work with business context; builds trust through transparency.
