Contract Data Engineer role supporting scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.
The position supports data-driven decision-making and data reliability, quality, and accessibility for analytical and operational needs.
Payout
- The stated payout is $30 to $100 per hour.
Location
- The position is remote and described as work from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Implement and maintain ETL/ELT processes for data warehousing and analytics initiatives.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across data assets and systems.
- Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Deliver high-quality data solutions for analytical and operational needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with SQL, Python, or Scala for data engineering tasks.
- Proficiency in Apache Airflow, Spark, or similar data pipeline frameworks.
- Knowledge of AWS, GCP, Azure, and their data services.
- Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and schema design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
