Role Overview
The employer is hiring a Data Engineer for a full-time role supporting scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.
The role supports data-driven decision-making and data reliability, quality, and accessibility for analytical and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize pipelines that ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Implement and maintain ETL/ELT processes for data warehousing and analytics.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across data assets and systems.
- Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with SQL, Python, or Scala for data engineering tasks.
- Proficiency with Apache Airflow, Spark, or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of AWS, GCP, Azure, or their data services.
- Familiarity with data modeling, warehousing concepts, and schema design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
