About Two Circles

Two Circles is a sports and entertainment marketing business that helps clients understand and influence fan behavior.

The company uses audience intelligence to help sports and entertainment clients grow direct-to-consumer and business-to-business revenues.

Role Overview

The Data Engineer will join a data and business intelligence engineering squad supporting the Fan Intelligence Platform.

The role focuses on building scalable data solutions that help sports teams, leagues, and organizations use their data effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and test scalable Azure data platform solutions using Python, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Function Apps.
  • Develop reliable and performant data products and pipelines.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams on data-driven insights and solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable code aligned with development frameworks and coding standards.
  • Monitor and optimize data workflows to improve performance and innovation.

Requirements

  • Experience designing, building, and testing solutions in a data lakehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in Python and PySpark for data processing and analytics.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and managing data.
  • Hands-on Azure experience, preferably with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Function Apps.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
  • Ability to follow development frameworks and coding standards.
