Team and role overview
MSCI's Sustainability and Climate Data Collection team acquires data at scale, performs quality assurance, and maintains standards for datasets supporting ESG products.
The Senior Associate delivers initiatives within the sustainability and climate transformation agenda and drives collection transformation projects with internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Research global company disclosures and extract insights using generative AI.
- Process annual reports, company websites, quantitative feeds, web crawlers, and news articles into actionable intelligence.
- Design scalable AI-assisted models and automation-friendly methodologies for structured data collection.
- Build and refine generative AI-powered extraction models and improve their accuracy, efficiency, and performance.
- Manage AI agents and validate their outputs through expert feedback.
- Design and optimize data workflows with technology and transformation teams.
- Improve data quality diagnostics, reduce manual intervention, and increase operational efficiency.
- Define quality control frameworks, ensure data delivery, process company feedback, and address client queries.
