Team Responsibilities
MSCI Data AI Engineering builds and manages data-centric applications and capabilities supporting MSCI business verticals.
The team focuses on data quality, consistency, and reliability across MSCI products.
The role contributes technical expertise while helping elevate the team’s products and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of AI and data science applications and set technical direction for data quality.
- Implement ML, NLP, Generative AI, Agentic AI, and anomaly detection methods in data science tools.
- Deliver functionality for internal production and client delivery platforms.
- Partner with Product Management, Quality Assurance, Data Operations, and IT Infrastructure throughout development.
- Evaluate and introduce tools, frameworks, and methodologies to improve AI/ML and data quality capabilities.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of relevant AI/ML engineering experience.
- Experience with statistical modeling, data exploration, visualization, and data mining at scale.
- Experience designing, developing, and deploying AI and ML solutions to production.
