The Role
The Data Architect & Fabric Platform Lead defines and governs enterprise data architecture and the Microsoft Fabric platform.
The role provides technical leadership for data engineering, platform modernization, governance, and solution design.
The position supports scalable, secure, and reliable data foundations for reporting, analytics, AI, and business decision-making.
The role reports to the Senior Manager, BI Analytics & Applied AI.
Data Architecture and Platform
- Own the enterprise data architecture roadmap and Microsoft Fabric platform strategy.
- Translate business requirements into target-state architectures, solution designs, and implementation roadmaps.
- Design and govern OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Medallion Architecture, data pipelines, semantic models, and enterprise data products.
- Architect enterprise data platforms that support reporting, analytics, automation, and AI initiatives.
- Drive migration and optimization of legacy BI, database, and integration solutions into Microsoft Fabric.
