Lead the business intelligence and data engineering functions across the enterprise data warehouse, ETL/ELT pipelines, and BI reporting ecosystem.
Act as a strategic business partner across Operations, HR, Finance, IT, and Strategy to deliver decision-support tools.
Provide consulting and advisory services related to data and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements.
- Translate business requirements into data and analytics solutions.
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and business risks.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Support data modeling, data integration, and data quality activities.
- Define KPIs, metrics, and performance indicators with stakeholders.
- Provide analytical insights and recommendations for business decisions.
- Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
- Conduct data validation and ensure analytical outputs are accurate and consistent.
- Prepare presentations, analytical reports, and executive-level insights.
- Support data governance, reporting automation, and analytics process improvements.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, statistics, business analytics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data consulting.
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI and data visualization.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical or analytical solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services.
- Mastery of SQL Server or modern cloud data warehouses, relational database design, and query optimization.
- Expert-level Microsoft Power BI competency, including Power BI Service, Gateway management, Premium capacity, and DAX.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Data Services, or cloud analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of Python for data analysis.
- Experience with DAX and Power Query.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, and master data management.
- Experience in AI/ML analytics or integrating AI capabilities into business solutions.
- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, Azure Data Engineer, or related certifications.
