RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze and interpret large datasets to uncover key insights that drive business objectives .
- Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to identify data needs and deliver actionable solutions.
- Develop and maintain data processes that enhance efficiency and support data-driven decision-making.
- Document and maintain data mapping specifications and business rules to support data governance efforts.
- Assist in building reports, dashboards, and analytics tools to monitor key metrics and trends.
- Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and recommend data-driven improvements.
- Respond to stakeholder inquiries and data requests in a timely and effective manner.
- Partner with Data Engineers to support the successful implementation of solutions.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Experience
- 2+ years of work experience in quantitative analysis.
- Education/Training
- Post-secondary degree in a quantitative discipline.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail s .
- Solid understanding of data and data modeling.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with the following tools:
- Visualization e.g., Sigma , AWS Quick sight
- Modelling e.g., MS Excel
- Database system e.g., PostgreSQL, Snowflake
- Cloud Technology e.g., AWS , Microsoft Azure
- Strong knowledge and understanding of SQL
- Working knowledge and understanding of Pytho n .
- A strong analytical mindset and sophisticated written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in the Financial Services Industry is an asset.
- Ability to work within an organization based upon continuous improvement.
