Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Analyst with expertise in SQL, Python, ETL development, and data engineering practices.

The role supports large-scale data processing systems, relational databases, ETL tools, reporting platforms, and Python-based automation.

The analyst will work with US-based clients and stakeholders; healthcare experience is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data integration workflows.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects in MSSQL and MySQL.
  • Use Pentaho or equivalent tools for data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.
  • Build Python automation scripts and data processing utilities.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports with Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, or equivalent platforms.
  • Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in SQL queries, ETL jobs, and reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders on data requirements.
  • Communicate with US-based clients and participate in client discussions and technical walkthroughs.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across multiple systems.
  • Participate in code reviews, deployments, production support, architecture discussions, and technical design decisions.
  • Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience in software engineering, ETL, or data engineering roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong SQL expertise covering MSSQL and MySQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Pentaho Data Integration or equivalent ETL tools.
  • Experience with Python scripting, automation, and data processing.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, or equivalent reporting tools.
  • Strong understanding of SQL query optimization and database performance tuning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of AWS services and cloud-based data processing concepts.
  • Experience communicating with US-based clients and working in global delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic healthcare domain knowledge is advantageous.
  • Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms is advantageous.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts is advantageous.
