The employer is hiring a Financial Data Analyst on a contract basis to analyze financial data, support decision-making and reporting, and apply financial modeling, visualization, and regulatory compliance expertise.
Compensation
- Payout is $40-$65 per hour.
Location and Work Arrangement
- The role is remote and can be performed from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, process, and analyze financial data from multiple sources to identify trends and anomalies.
- Develop and maintain models forecasting revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
- Prepare detailed stakeholder reports and dashboards for strategic planning.
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate across teams to integrate financial insights into business operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python is required.
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting techniques is required.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards is required.
- Ability to create visualizations using tools such as Tableau or Power BI is required.
- Familiarity with data cleaning and validation processes is required.
