Role Overview
Contract Business Data Analyst role focused on analyzing complex datasets, identifying trends, and translating findings into actionable business insights.
The role supports data-driven decision-making and strategic initiatives for a client in the technology and data infrastructure sector.
Compensation
- Payout is $30-$100 per hour.
Workplace
- The position is fully remote and allows work from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect, process, and statistically analyze large datasets to uncover trends and patterns.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate key metrics and insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and align with business objectives.
- Generate ad hoc reports and visualizations to support decision-making across departments.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency through validation and quality checks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating relational databases.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
- Knowledge of Python or R for data processing and analysis.
- Experience with Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills for presenting findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
