Role Overview
Work remotely on a contract basis as a Business Data Analyst for one of the employer's clients.
Analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable insights for business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, process, and perform statistical analyses on large datasets.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for key metrics and insights.
- Define data requirements with cross-functional teams and support business alignment.
- Create ad hoc reports and visualizations for departmental decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency through validation and quality checks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating relational databases.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
- Knowledge of Python or R for data processing and analysis is required.
- Experience with Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables.
- Attention to detail, independent working ability, and strong communication skills are required.
Compensation
- The contract pays $30 to $100 per hour.
Workplace
- The position is fully remote and allows work from anywhere with flexible collaboration across time zones.
