Role Overview
Contract Data Analyst role focused on analyzing complex datasets, identifying trends, and translating findings into actionable insights for business decisions.
Location and Work Arrangement
- Fully remote position with work-from-anywhere arrangements and flexible collaboration across time zones.
Compensation and Job Type
- Contract position paying $30-$100 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, process, and statistically analyze large datasets to uncover trends and patterns.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that communicate key metrics and insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and align with business objectives.
- Generate ad-hoc reports and visualizations for decision-making across departments.
- Validate data accuracy and consistency through quality checks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating relational databases.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex data sets.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
- Knowledge of Python or R for data processing and analysis.
- Experience with Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables.
- Attention to detail, independent work ability, and strong communication with non-technical stakeholders.
